Wally’s lake Weymouth Dorset. Fished the second lake called meadows.
We arrived to find 2 Anglers in our intended swim, which would of been perfect with the strong wind on our backs, and island features too fish too. The other swims on the lake were impossible to fish due to very large numbers of Canadian geese, resident on the lake, gutted we were left to fish open water, with a very strong cross wind, and no features to fish too. On a plus it was the deepest part of the lake, at around 5-6ft, which we hope too find a few fish in.
After 4 session blank using Nash Citrus, a change in bait was needed. Always have tub of Nutor slime Wafters in the bait bag. Fished using soiled bag of Micro pallet, chilli hemp oil. The morning went by quiet, but come midday the sun had warmed up the layers, and we had 1 1/2 hours of action. 4 runs 4 fish all caught on Nutor slime Wafters. Awesome bait, that finds you bite in the winter months, wear others fail. Jack age 9, was buzzing, looking forward to going back at half term for more of the same action. Cheers Tor, awesome bait.
