Promo members George and Jo had a fantastic and very much welcomed session, here is what they had to say about the first trip back out.
We had the chance for quick overnighter for the first time in over 6 months and we were very happy to take it. We got the the lake and did a walk around, there wasn’t any moment so we picked a spot and baited up. Single hook baits on a Ronnie and slipD rigs would be our approach. I was using a white krill Wafter and a yellow alpha Wafter, it wasn’t long before the krill put a lovely common on the bank weighing 12lb. Next, Jo was in with a stunning 15lb mirror on a washed out white cherry bomb wafer. It started to freeze and got very quiet with the odd beep but Jo was off again in the morning with a snail Wafter but sadly jo lost it at the net but she baited back up and recast. Jo was rewarded with another stunning mirror at 9lb again on the washed out white cherry bomb Wafter.
