Catch Report: Ian Crowther

Promo member Ian has just got home from a cracking weekend. Here is what Ian had to say.
Sneaky 24 hrs on horseshoe Willow Croft:::: arrived around 9 am to an empty lake had a drive round couldn’t see any signs so parked up and walked to favourite 2 pegs gut feeling was no nothing there so went to a corner I had fished twice before landing 2 carp and a blank in the swim but gut instinct settled down in wet windy conditions had 2 carp around 11-12 o clock on krill+ Wafters in a gap in the reeds tight to the island resulting in the smallest carp I’ve ever had a common at 4 lbs and a mirror soon after at 11-4 stunning colours on it then wind changed and all went quite until the left rod had a big drop back which is a perfect sign of a cat struck in to it and the battle started 20/25 minutes later landed the 3 rd biggest cat in there at 60-2 which fell to a MonsTor crab cocoon pop up on a 2ft zig on size 8 curved hook on a 12lb monofilament hook link a pb cat for me from this water but no a personal pb which is at 70-2 a great short session which for the time of yr. I’ll take #Torbaits #wgotsot #Promoteam 💪💪🎣🎣
