My last few sessions had been a blank so I opted for a slight change ! This being the Jaffa cocoons that had been soaking in slime for a good few weeks (smelt great)
I set up with a Size 6 Ronnie with boom link and armed with Jaffa cocoons and a PVA mix bag. I then cast to the far bank to a snaggy area where a tree had semi fallen in the water (very carpy)
Before I could set up my second rod my alarm was off and landed a beautiful looking mirror.
I decided to keep the same set up on my second rod and sit this just off a bed of reeds and within an hour landed a little common.
A few hours I saw a Carp show in the middle of the water so I dropped a Jaffa cocoon right on his nose and landed a crazing little mirror.
Great day session! My first time using Jaffa cocoons and I can assure you I will use these again !! My tip Jaffa cocoons with the Jaffa slime
